To push forward full preparation for the 7th Belt and Road Initiative Tax Administration Cooperation Forum (BRITACOF), the BRITACOM Secretariat dispatched a delegation to Jakarta, Indonesia from 14 to 15 July 2026.

 

During the visit, the delegation conducted on-site inspections of the forum venue Hotel Mulia Senayan and designated delegate accommodation hotels, together with officials from the host side, Indonesia’s Directorate General of Taxes (DGT), Ministry of Finance. 

 

The BRITACOM delegation also held in-depth talks with Mr. Bimo Wijayanto, Director General of DGT. Both sides exchanged views on the overall preparation and organizational arrangements for the 7th BRITACOF, fully aligned work requirements, and improved the bilateral coordination mechanism. The two parties are committed to joint efforts to ensure the high-quality success of the upcoming forum.

 

This field visit marks critical progress in advancing the preparation of the 7th BRITACOF, laying a solid foundation for the smooth, high-quality delivery of the forum scheduled to take place from 13 to 15 October 2026 under the theme Smart Taxation, Shared Prosperity. The bilateral exchange also further consolidated the coordination partnership between the BRITACOM Secretariat and Indonesia’s DGT.
