On 25 August 2020, Mr. Huang Suhua, Deputy Director General of International Taxation Department of State Taxation Administration of China, and staff from the BRITACʘM Secretariat met with Mr. Fernando Lugris, Uruguayan Ambassador to China, and Mr. Federico Lage, Head of the Economic-Commercial and Investment Department of Uruguay Embassy in China. Both China and Uruguay expressed their willingness to deepen cooperation under the framework of the BRITACʘM especially on task force for enhancing tax administration capacity and issues related to the Belt and Road Initiative Tax Administration Capacity Enhancement Group. The BRITACʘM Secretariat expressed its strong commitment to promoting the cooperation among its stakeholders.
